Amal Clooney

Amal Clooney (born Amal Ramzi alamuddin) is a Lebanese/British lawyer, human rights advocate and charity philanthropist. When she graduated from Oxford University School of Law she embarked on an extensive and successful professional career within human rights as well as international law. Clients include a number of notable nation-states including Armenia and the struggle it has to get the Turkish Government recognize Armenia's right to recognize the Armenian Genocide. Amal Clooney got engaged to American actor George Clooney to marry him in 2014. The couple instantly became an iconic name in pop entertainment. Prior to that, the actress was known for successfully representing her clients before courts and earned a good name. Her work ranges from tackling social justice and human rights issues to representing several multinational companies in negotiation and court cases regarding government regulation. From 2015 onwards, she was a barrister at British courts in Doughty Street Chambers.
